Who feels bad that Saddam Hussein was executed?

Even if you are opposed to capital punishment in ordinary cases, Saddam was exceptional.
He is credited with murdering between 300,000 and 1,000,000 of his own citizens. And I am not talking about combat deaths. Besides this, the torture and rape that were carried out as government policy...he got off easy. But honorable people cannot torture him the way he had others tortured.

i feel sorry for him and his family.we should not be one sided.he was once a dictator and rule their country for over a decade,he is also a human being with conscience.i think during his last hour on earth he reflected all his wrong doings and perhaps he regretted what he did and it ended him up hanging.on the other hand,i'm sure he did something great for his country because he has many followers and they idolized him so much.whatever the cause and whatever the reason,i'm sure he regret what he did. we can't do anything to stop this kind of punishment in a muslim country because that's their law. my condolence to the bereaved family.

I sort of feel bad that he was executed as well. I know that he was a bad person and that he deserved his punishment, but I really don't believe in killing people. I think that he just should have been put into prison for life although I think that would cost the government lots of money though.

How do we expect people to learn that killing is wrong if we execute them. The lesson is: It is OK to execute people if you are powerful- and STAY in power.
I did not like Saddam, but executing a helpless prisoner seems callous.

I believe that if you intentiolly kill someone then YOU deserve to die.
Unless it's in a war or something. But yes I did feel a little sad watching that video.

I do,because I believe the leaders who assisted him in carrying out his evil deeds are still in the position of managing the world.

I don't really believe in capital punishment so I feel life in prison would have suited him better.
