What key is a guitar in?

I have an Acoustic guitar and I'm trying to transpose (which I'm not great at) and I don't know what key a guitar is in. Help!

For transposition purposes, a guitar is in Concert key. It's like a piano. But beware, a guitar plays everything an octave lower than written.

Since the first and sixth strings are E, I would think E. But I didn't think a guitar was in in any specific key.

    It's in C, a guitar isn't a transposed instrument.

Guitar is in concert C i believe... just like a piano. everything is an octave lower on the guitar though.

I never thought about it, but I assume the key of C. I will look around.
