Idler Pulley does not appear to be spring loaded on '97 Nissan Sentra?
Is there an adjusting screw or bolt on pulley? I have tried to move the idler pully by pressure but won't budge. Need 1st hand experience to answer.

If there is an adjuster bolt above the pulley, then you need to loosen the bolt in the center of the pulley first. Then turn the adjuster bolt CCW to loosen pulley.
