Does anyone here know some other artists a Connie Francis fan might like?

I'm making a mix CD for a friend of mine's mother who's in the hospital, and all l know about her taste in music is that she likes Connie Francis. Knowing nothing about that genre/era of music, I'm clueless.

    Try some old Brenda Lee stuff. She and Connie Francis were contemporaries back in the day. Brenda was a little more rockin' but her slower stuff sounds a lot like Connie to me.
