True Chrstianity is theoretically good, like Marxism. It all looks nice for the grater good on paper, but "Man" (that includes women) is weak and perverts every religion and every sytem of governmnet into something that only serves and benefits the elite, greedy few.

And all there things you listed are support or encouraged by what part of the New Testament? Who ever said that because the American government did something, that made it "Christian".

This is the same nation which allows abortion on demand (a direct violation of the Christian faith), has banned prayer in school, has banned Christian expressions or displays in public, and is moving towards allowing same sex marriages (another direct violation of the Christian faith). So obviously everything America does is not "Christian"

Why is it that any time people find something they object to, they decide that is it a teaching of the Christian faith? I can only assume it is either prejudice or ignorance about the Christian faith.

If you want to know why we believe Christianity is "good", may I respectfully suggest that you read the New Testament, which is the basis of Christian faith and doctrine, and find out what it actually believes and teaches. When you read "the book", you will get the answers.

Jesus rejects the bloody evil institutions including the American government with strategies and policies using nuclear bombs, MOABS, b-52, intercon ballistic missiles, assanation, murdering, tirture, lies, strategic bombing, carpet bombing, etc..

Generally christian hypocrites lies if they claim that they are followers of Jesus

The Christian Church has been persecuting non-believers for MUCH longer than recent history.. let's not forget the Inquisition or the Crusades.

It's just gotten more insidious in modern times.

However, I really must point out that the United States is NOT a Christian Nation, no matter how much the Christians use Hitler's Big Lie theory to perpetuate that.

You base christianity on people who most christians would seperate from themselves. Just cause an atheist shoots someone doesn't make all atheists evil, not all muslims want to blow themselves up in the name of allah. Think about it, every religion has bad eggs in it, look at your own, and if you do not have a religion, think of what some athiests have done. They are not you the same way other christians are not me. Christianity isn't flawed, humans are flawed

God and Jesus DO NOT condone war. True Christians have no part in killing their fellowman. I am a Christian Jehovah's Witness and am part of a worldwide brotherhood. When the genocide occured in Rwanda in the 1990's, my spiritual brothers and sisters protected each other whether they were Hutu or Tutsi. Jesus said his followers would be NO PART OF THIS WORLD, and would be known by their love for one another. The United States claims to have God's backing but that is entirely false, and you may be pleased to know that God's Kingdom will replace all the human governments very soon.

Daniel 2:44, "And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite". Jesus is the King of this Kingdom and as such will destroy all the governments of the earth, whether they falsely claim allegiance to God or not. True Christians are neutral in political matters no matter what country they live in.

Before WW2, we tried to stay out of europe's affairs, but were drawn into war because we were perceived as weak. Since then, the real enemy became Athiest Communism, and historical fact suffices in demonstrating that communism has killed more of their own people than Christians ever have. Stalin killed 40 million russians, Mau killed 30 million chinese, Pol Pot killed 2 million Cambodians, North Korea has killed millions of koreans and every communist alive lived in constant fear of murder or torture, and lived a life of drudgery that your pathetic butt would never know. Perhaps you can visit cuba or n. korea and report to us the lovely treatment you'll receive.

I don't need to elaborate on the evil Muslim empires either. There are almost a billion muslim women who are not in the ranks of humanity.

What makes you think we have a Christian government? Look at the ten commandments - most of them are in direct opposition to American values. Most of our politicians make no pretense of being practicing Christians, and all of our founding documents go out of their way to disassociate our government from the Christian faith.

The 'good' that people associate with Christianity has to do with freedom, morality, hospitals, schools, charities, women's rights, the abolition of slavery, and civil rights, all of which were championed by Christians (contrary to popular opinion).

You are making the mistake of not separating the Church and the government, ironically, some people in the government make the same mistake when they run it. Some who claim to be Christian are not, you can tell by their actions(like Bush) and there are some who are quiet about their religion but who live it instead, and they don't deserve your nasty comments.

The government of this world is secular and under God, whether they believe in Him or not. Government is only as good as the people they govern! You don't have to fear government if you have not violated any current laws. Romans 13.. They Are the Ministers of God! They perpetrate evil on those who need it. Ha!
