in today's society, the bushy or bald look is one of great debate.
i've read more and more men are doing it to add some spice to their sexual encounters. others do it to keep the area clean and more easy to care for.
my dermotologist recommended that i shave mine and keep it shaven. i was continously dealing with itch, to the point that the skin became irritated and raw. i tried one medicine after another to dry up the irritation. after using several different creams/ointments, the itch did go away. at that time, my doctor recommended removing the hair so the area could be kept drug and not irritated by the hair rubbing against the skin.
shaving is a personal decision. i like the look and the feel. my wife is much more willing to engage in OTHER forms of s-----
activity with the hair removed. there are definitely benefits.

Modification of pubic hair
In Islamic societies, removing the pubic hair is a religiously endorsed practice.
A woman with fully shaven pubic hair.Trimming or completely removing pubic hair has become a custom in many cultures. A preference for hairless genitals is known as acomoclitism. The methodology of removing hair is called depilation (when removing only the hair above the skin) or epilation (when removing the entire hair). The trimming or removal of body hair by men is sometimes referred to as manscaping.
Reasoning
Some arguments for modification of pubic hair have included:
fashion
religion
tradition
sexual practice, such as for oral sex
tactile sensation

It really isn't a choice between good or bad; more a matter of personal taste. So, feel free to shave or trim or leave it alone as suits your own desire for hair versus feeling smooth. Though if you look kind of scruffy down there with full hair grown in, trimming is definitely advised.
Oh, and if you don't know what you like best, feel free to shave it all off and keep it that way for a month ot two then let it grow back fully. that way you get a full range comparison and can make an informed decision for your self. I like my scrotum shaved and trim my piubes while my roommate shaves his pubes and occasionally his scrotum so ther ei sroom for differences in this like all things.

Keep it how you like it. Its a personal decision. Since I personally hate spitting hairs and appreciate a female partner who makes this less of a problem I decided to return the favor, whats good for the goose is good for the gander and all that. Be well.

I don't like clean shaven men I like trimmed and not musky unless you do not bathe
As in women I think that for men it would be personal preference

It's good to have hair unless:
--you have crabs
--you just don't wanna grow up
--you're having chemo and it's going to fall out anyway
--your role models are porn actors.
Hair means you are a healthy adult with good levels of male hormones. It's soft, sensual, sexy and actually cleaner than bald, as hair encourages rapid evaporation of sweat, so you don't stink.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. It is better to leave it there than to shave it off. You should ask some of your close female friends and get their opinion. Mine said to leave it in.
