Now that states are allowing civil unions, will there be conjugal visits for same-sex partners?

States that have legitmized same sex civil unions and allow conjugal visits would have to allow same sex conjugal visits or be sued.

I fully expect some bigoted, red-necked prison official to refuse same sex conjugal visitation rights and the ACLU to sue the state and win a big settlement. And rightly so. Rights are rights, and are not subject to bigoted implementation.

That would not help the AIDS problem in institutions one bit and there should be a law against that.

only one or two states have allow this to happen so they have a long way to go before this can even happen

I suppose that it would be a logical next step for prisons to take.
