tweeters, are they ok to be used on the side of a speaker karaoke system.?

We bought a karaoke system that has tweeters on the side of the unit, and not on the front of the speaker unit. My question is it better to have the tweeters on the front or dose it matter.

It's better to have the tweeters in front for better sound in

general. I would really have to see your karaoke system

to be able to help you any better.
