I don't. Saddam was NEVER a danger to the US. In fact, it was Reagan who gave him the WMD's that he later got rid of. There are many other evil rulers in the world, but they're not sitting on the second largest oil field in the world.

In America, on national television? No, I don't think it should have been televised. As awful a person as he was, and as dangerous I think he was, and as much as I'm glad he's dead, I don't want to see a guy swinging from the gallows. I sure don't want my children, who were playing in the living room while I was drinking coffee and watching the Today Show, to look up and see a dead Saddam on the tv.

I think it'll be televised in his own country, and it will be available on the internet somewhere, where people who want to see it can see it.

I'm positive it was filmed, though, so that there can be no question as to whether it happened or whether it was really him.

No, even the most horrible on men deserve a desnet exicutution. It should not be or been shown.

We in America don't film or show our own exicutions (in fact, we hind them behind walls and closed doors in isoloated parts of prisions, away from the public), so why should we show another countries process.

You are right. There is no need to broadcast it to the world, and irt will turn his exicution into a joke, entertainment, and a converstation piece, unstread of a punishment.

We knew it happened, and the private video streams on-line were enough to feed the masses/ This issue come up any time someone dies, Steve Irwin comes to mind, Princess Diana, the list is endless.

Let them die and rest in pease.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing it on tv. I mean he was a horrible man who deserved what he got. I understand why some people wouldn't want it on tv and wouldn't want our children to see it but it's history and it's no different than watching CSI or any other shows like that, there are dead bodies on there, so why would this be different? He was a bad man and this is all part of history. He didn't die a brutal death, it wasn't like he was stoned to death or shot to death. I think it would do the world some good to see that man pay. It would also show that when you are like that and you kill thousands of people this is what you get. Thats just want I think. If they don't show it on tv, which I guess it could be considered politically incorrect then I do hope it's online somewhere...

It is on video tape. They would not have shown anything like that here in America. It would imagine the hanging will be out on the Internet soon anyway.

    The news clip was enough.

Not me. It's crude and we don't need to see it to know it has been done.
