Why does Yahoo let Netflix run an ad on my homepage?

I hate ads. Does anyone know a good homepage that doesn't run ads?

Update:

and its not free, I pay ATT Yahoo every month for DSL.

if you have firefox, you can download an extension that blocks all ads completely. and there are certain firewalls that block all ads. I think ads are going to be wherever yo surf the net.

Yahoo is a free service because advertising pays the bills! Just like TV or Radio. Don't complain when something is free!!!

You are paying AT&T for your internet connection, not for Yahoo!

Yahoo! is a free service available to anyone with an internet connection. To make money, Yahoo! allows advertising on their pages.

They get paid by the advertiser, not from you. Nothing is free.
