how much water should u drink every day to be healthy?

    If you wait to drink water when you are thirsty it's to late. Thats your body telling you that your on empty. The average person of average physical activity needs to consume at least half gallon of water per day....a gallon is much better. I carry a 20 oz bottle with me all the time and it's an easy way to measure the 64-128 oz's that your gonna need.

    You should drink a minimum of 8 glasses a day and more if it is hot weather. Don't wait until you are thirsty as this means you are dehydrated already.

    The water should be plain. Drinking it in the form of tea or coffee leads to more dehydration.

    half of your body weight in ounces

    ie: if you are 150 lbs then you will need 75 ounces a day

    2 Litres. minimum.
