What is the difference if ay between explorers and browsers?What are the different advantages and disadvantages?

Update:

Excluding the plugin does one function differently? i.e. edit webpage, working on and offline?

explorer is IE 6 OR 7 browsers you brows the internet

A Web browser is any program that can display Web pages given the Web address, though most provide many other features as well. "Explorer" can refer to either Internet Explorer, which is a Web browser, or Windows Explorer, which displays the contents of folders as icons.
