Just Curious on what everyone thinks.

Neither the war nor the level of violence will be affected in the aggregate..... shia's hate sunnis and vice-versa. It's been true for hundreds of years. The only thing that stopped them from offing each other in the past was the presence of a brutal, dictatorial regime that had a strong army backing it up. Once that "control" was taken away, the two sides are settling centuries-old scores.
Our side was delusional in thinking this WOULDN'T happen... The imcompetence being displayed in the management of this conflict will cause your eyes to cross if you think about it too hard.

It's not going to improve anything in fact I thing it might generate more violent behavior (considering the manner in which he was executed and how people danced around his corps)

No change. The one who killed thousands of Americans and plans more destruction is in Pakistan and nothing is being done about it. Saddam is merely a diversion.

It will probably get worse before it gets better,as with most things.I for one sure would be glad to see all people being civil to one another.
Happy New Year!

The US forces are too well entrenched and hold overwhelming military power and can suppress uprisings when needed.
