i cant sleep at night.... i always stay awake until about 7 am and then go to sleep and sleep all day...help?

    force yourself to stay awake all day, i guarantee you'you'll be tired at night.

    Have you always had this problem, or is this just something new for you? If it's been an on going problem, you need to see your doctor.

    Like the others mentioned, your body could just be conditioned to sleep during the day now. So you may just need to re-condition your body into sleeping at night.

    Trying taking a warm bath for about 20 minutes before getting ready for bed. Close your eyes and try not to think about anything stressful. This will relax your mind and your muscles.

    After the bath, go straight to bed. You will feel cold after leaving the bath, so your body will use it's energy to "warm up" and help you fall asleep faster.

    If that doesn't work, try the following:

    - avoid drinking any caffenine at least 3 hours before you want to go to sleep.

    - avoid smoking or any other stimulants at least 1 hour (preferably 3 hours) before you want to sleep.

    - try reading a book while in bed. The constant movement of your eyes back and forth on the page works like hypnosis and will try you into a sleep.

    - check with your doctor first, but you can also try the following:

    - one glass of wine about 1/2 before bedtime

    - melatonin is a supplement you can buy at any drug or vitamin shop. Our body produces melatonin whlie we sleep. Buy taking the supplement 45 minutes before bedtime, it will help you relax and fall asleep.

    But again, if you've been having this problem for a long time, you need to see a doctor for a sleep study and not try any of the above. Good luck!

    sleeping all day is the problem, if you can't sleep at night, do not sleep in the daytime, try staying awake and then when night comes you will probably sleep.

Try whisky or wine and spicy food before you go for sleep at night in early hours. You should enjoy fruits and salads whole day so that it will purify your body and don't sleep in day time.

    Try a round magnet below your neck with S pole touching your neck and go asleep.

    Try taking one PM at about 9:00 at night. It works for me. I can't take two PM's because then I have really weird dreams and feel groggy in the morning.

    I work nights, get off at 6 am.

    Then I sleep all day.
