You get wonderful prizes every year, like stickers, mugs, and caps.

And tickets to NYC for the big Yahoo! New Years Eve Party.

And in the spring, the magic Easter Yamster brings you a special surprise.

And you get to go to Disney World for the big Yahoo! Fourth of July Blowout.

Now, go get those pnts and get them prizes.

The main thing that the points are good for is that they pay for the questions that you ask. Each question that you ask costs you five points. They can also be used to brag to your friends about how brilliant you are. Other than that, they aren't much good.

Points allow you to rise through the levels and do more of what it is you are already doing, as well as ask questions

The more points you get the more answers you can answer. So there is no reason. It's just something to do when stuck at work.

Ego boosters. Give you something to work towards and is an indication of exactly how much of whatever it is you have done.
