When is the right age to apply topical fluoride?

    Don't bother until the 6-year molars are present. You'll never get good cooperation below that age anyhow.

    I believe the right age would be when the permanent teeth at the side and back start to come in. My son had his first topical fluride treatment when he was about 9.

    I think three is okay I guess it would depend on the patient and the dentist or the condition of the teeth my child is three and she has it on hers
