Muscular System..Actin/Myosin..please help!!!?
who can kindly explain the microscopic anatomy of muscles. I can't undersand how actin and myosin work. please tell me how does muscle move with this motor unit and so on and so forth. just tell me everything you know about this matter as long as it helps.

muscle contraction is stimulated by the receptor acetylcholine. it triggers calcium release intracellularly from the sarcoplasmic reticulum. the increased calcium levels then causes the actin and myosin fibers to bind with each other which then causes the muscle cell to contract.
