Depression is an affliction that happens much more often to people who are right-brain-dominant. Mushrooms force the brain activity into the right hemisphere, and interfere with the communication back to the rational left. It means that it is very likely that someone who is depressed would become intensely depressed, and if not, would be even more vulnerable to depression afterward.

I don't know about depression but i suggest you don't take shrooms they have psilosybin in them and will change your brain chemistry for a day Or so. Besides hallucinating and deep thought or deep depersonalization the drug could have adverse effects if your depressed you might freak out have the so called bad trip.
Even if you were not depressed it's a bad idea dangerous drug bad for body it will make you hallucinate do you think you could handle that in your current state of mind?
