Can we convert a GIF image to JPEG image? If so, how?

I am unable to see a photograph, when it is saved to my PC from internet.

    Sometimes this will help. If you are able to save the photo, then when you save it, you can change the gif to jpg before you save it. When you save the photo, it will ask you to name it. Right under the name section it will say GIF and it should have a little arrow. If you click on the down arrow, it should give you a list of what you want and that is where you can change it from a GIF file to a JPG. You might even try going to freedownloads.com and down loading a photo software and that will help you out too. Good luck!!

    Open paint in windows.

    Open the gif file.

    click file->save as

    save file as jpg.

    Or you can also download photoshop from http://adobe.com to make edits to the gif file and save it as jpg.

    You could open it in MS Paint and save it in the other format

    Try Windows paint application or Irfanview. Those two are good.

    In case you don't have the proper software to do it, The GIMP can do it. Assuming Windows, here's my advice on installing it:

    Download and install this first: http://superb-west.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/... (Gimp Tool Kit). Then download and install this: http://superb-west.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/... . Then download and install this: (animation pack). Lastly, download and install this: http://superb-west.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/... (help files).

    Then, right-click on your file, Open With..., and choose Win-Gimp or TheGimp, whichever appears. With the file open in The GIMP, click on it's File menu, Save as, type the name such as picture.jpg and GIMP knows how to convert it, based on that file extension name.
