How do you move on and recover after someone that you cared about and loved hurt you?

I've been trying to do it for the longest time but its very hard, especially when you have to face the person everyday.

Have a "Waiting to Exhale" moment, as me and my girls like to call it. Go out with positive people that make you happy to help you get over it. If you're old enough a little alcohol will do the trick also. Unless you make this an every day thing (which I don't recommend) time is what will make all wounds heal. Continue being nice to this someone, I know its going to hurt. My mom tells me all the time, you have to kill them with kindness. It works, I have ex's that try so hard to get back with me, but when its over its over.

Umm..don't try weed or drugs. There really isn't a cure except time and keeping yourself busy and surrounded by friends and family. Believe that you are strong and within time, you will recover and heal. You're doing so as we speak. Besides if he hurt you, that must mean it's his loss and he must not be worth it. Don't forget that. In the meantime, explore new oppurtunities, live your life and don't dwell on it too much. Hope that somewhat helps..xD (No worries, I'm still dealing with the same situation..it's been like 4 months I believe..=P) Yes it's very hard.. I know..he was my bestfriend's bestfriend...

Well, just take it as a part of life. You`re going to have disappointments and good times. You just need to concentrate on the good. Look at what you got now; as in Friends, family. If you need comforting you talk to your BEST friend and you`ll be able to get through it. I know how you feel & Ive recently just got over a difficult relationship. It`s hard, really, but all you need is patience, and just concentrate on today, not yesterday, or tomorrow. But dont worry, even though it seems all bad at the moment, everything is going to work out just fine. Really.

That is a tough situation but I would either try to get out of wherever you see this peron all the time, maybe that would help you get closure. If you met someone else, it may help to get past the other guy. Other than that, just realize that he wasn't the one for you and there are so many other people out there to meet. I know it's hard so just keep your head up. I wish you best of luck in getting past the hurt.
