anything that requires creativity or imagination is considered to be an art. in architecture, the quality of the building material is enhanced to provoke a feeling. as well as the order of the objects or rooms in a particular structure. art equals aesthetics. aesthetics is reminescent in architecture through the paints used, the window frames, staircases, pillars and the simple appointments of the room. for picassos cubism,we have le corbuiser geometric structures.

Without a doubt. Few buildings have been built throughout history without consideration for their physical beauty. Just look at the Parthenon, The Eiffel Tower, The Chrysler building, any Frank Ghery building...

I think it is, and if not it should be.
In fact, in Art History class, we spent the majority of our time studying ancient architechture.

Yes, definitely, you have to design houses, buildings, etc.. and choose what materials to use to give it the look you want.
