how come i cant play newer regular xbox (not 360) games on my xbox (not 360)?

Question

ever since I bought my regular xbox (not 360), Whenever I buy the newer games for it, they dont work!

P.S. I bought my xbox shortly after it came out.

Your xbox is dying. Try calling 1800-4MYXBOX, they can guide you through what to do, or replace your console. My xbox is about to die after its fourth year of play, so its not a big surprise. If they charge you to get it fixed, i reccommend the 360, i have one, and not disappointed at all.

They start to wear out. You can either get someone to fix it, or get a new one. (about the same price)

Or you can upgrade to 360. There isn't as much choice in games as the Xbox at the moment, but the choices are quickly rising. Plus, if you download the code, you can play alot of the new Xbox (standard) games on it anyways.
