Has an ex bf ever come back on his own after the girl cut off contact with him?

I was told begging is unattractive and ignoring the ex bf would make them come back faster. Has it ever happened to you? How long does it take for the guy to come back? Especially if she is your 1st love and the reason for breaking up is b/c the guy doesnt know what he wants.

I'm kind of in the same situation. My ex broke up with me in April and I was devastated but I changed my cell # and resolved to get over him. In July he emailed me and I ignored it, and then a couple weeks ago out of the blue he emailed me again apologizing, saying how great a gf I was, etc. Our relationship was pretty bad... his life was so messed up how could I expect a healthy relationship, right? But anyway, your guy won't necessarily come back... you are doing the right thing, begging is unattractive and he CERTAINLY won't come back if you act all needy. Do play hard-to-get, and in the proccess of doing so you might realize that you are better off without him afterall. Just give it some time and who knows what will happen.

Well, first I wouldn't suggest playing games, but here are the cold, hard facts:

When a man doesn't know what he wants you have to cut him off with the thoughts that he may come back or he may not. Chances are, he will, in my experience.

Yes, this has happened to me three times, and each guy has come back to me. The deal is, if they try to do this over and over again you have to let them go for real. Don't let them play the rollercoaster game with you! When they come back you need to talk about each of your expectations for the relationship, where to go from there and you must express to him that he can't go back and forth. If he is not sure about this, let him go...he might be a great guy, but no guy is worth that much waiting. You're sure about him...he should be just as sure about you!

I had an ex-boyfriend that left me for another girl, came back within a week, and then left again for the same girl. He didn't know what he wanted and I'm glad I did--and it wasn't him. If he didn't know what he wanted then, he probably doesn't now. He needs growing up to do before he deserves you.

Girl, how old are you? If you think you really do love the guy, tell him. Most of the time playing hard to get doesn't work and you just wind up getting hurt.

If you like him, tell him your feeling, and then she how things turn out. If he still says he doesn't know what he wants, then it may be time for you to move on.

    Dont play "hard to get".

    You play you get burned.

    Bad advice from bitter women.
