I would say mid twenties with plenty of exceptions of course....I was 27 when I married my husband last year - he was 35....I think we were a little on the old side but we'd been engaged since I was 25 and he was 32, a mere 3 months after meeting each other. We wanted to really save up for our dream wedding. :)

I don't think there is necessarily an age. I always thought that when I was younger I would have been married around 23, here I am 29 and getting married in September. Sometimes people get married too young which is partly to blame for such high divorce rates. More people do want to establish themselves first, finish school, or have their careers in order before getting married. Statistics do show people are getting married late 20 early 30's which was unheard of years ago. Again more people are attending college etc. The other perspective is 30 is no longer considered "old" like it used to be, it's often referred to the "new twenties"

I'm getting married in September and I'll be 26 at that time. I still feel like I may be a little too young, I am still however very happy that it's happening! I remember being a teenager and having my whole life planned out, lol. Year by year, the things I will have accomplished. Kinda funny now. I thought I would have wanted to have been married in my early 20's... 23 at the latest, kids at 24-25. So glad I didn't listen to my younger self, lol. Idiot children with their weird thoughts. Everyone is different, and moves at different paces. There is no exact age for everyone, it's just a personal choice I guess. :)

I don't really know the statistics to answer this particular question.

everybody gets married at different times. I guess the main part would be when you are ready to commit and find someone you would love to spend eternity with. With that said, I would make an estimate of around the age of 20-30.

as for me, I would love to get married before the age of 25.

    Source(s): Me...who else?

Women get that "oh I need to get married quick" bug in their twenties. Most people are in their twenties. I was a teenager. I also read the trend is moving to later- around 27 - 32 because people want to establish themselves first.
