What is the best kind of Laptop?

I am getting a laptop pretty soon, so I was wondering what kind of laptop is the best brand?

    The best value is Toshiba. I recommend that you look at different models at Costco, Staples, Wal-mart and other retailers that provide a HASSLE FREE return policy. Be a good consumer and ASK about returns BEFORE you buy. Brand new computers can be troublesome, regardless of what brand that you buy.

    But keep in mind that Dell and Sony sell laptops with EXPLODING BATTERIES. Avoid those two brands.

    Any decent name brand, like Compaq, HP, Dell.

    Laptops are one of the few things that you really don't want to go to off-brands for. It's something that you will be moving around a lot, so build quality matters. A friend of mine had an Averatec, and components in it started malfunctioning one by one. First the battery went out, then the keyboard, then the track pad locked up, then the hard disk crashed...

    I would definitely recommend a laptop. I work for apple computers as tech support, and fully recommend the laptops

    Yes, I highly recommend you getting a Macintosh, a MacBook or a MacBook Pro. It will have everything that you would need.

    my sister's laptop is the best..

    the brand is: ACER

    it has a really good memory size..

    has a built-in web cam..

    has a wide screen..

    and has the highest resolution..

    and i assure you, it really runs fast!!!!!

    never did it make me wait like as long as a minute..
