R U Emancipated & have proof? If not u will need a adult guardian or family member to co-sign if ur in state a 17 yr old can legally move out that is.If not or u cant get co-signer do u have a good friend or relative u could stay with, till u r 18 if so pay them rent with cks. or money orders for it will help u when u r able to rent ur own apt. shows u r responsible & have rental history, also keep ur job its very important to have proof of income. GOOD LUCK ALL WILL BE OK!

yeah, but i dont think they really like to... i dont know if it would be the same in your case. but my boyfriend, his brother and thier friend when they first moved out, got an apartment. My bf and his brother were 18 but thier friend was 17, so what the renter did, was not put the friend on the lease until they turned 18. but since ur living alone, i dont know if im much help lol. i would try it, it dosnt hurt to ask. and im pretty sure that if you get emancipated, you will be able to get an apartment, no problem. Good luck, with the apartment and things at home.

Um, the rich and famous... The people who are well off enough to do so.. Until you are 18 you have to live under your parents roof. Sad, but true. Unless you go to court and get emancipated, but look on the bright side, 17 is only a year away from 18...

No, you must be 18 to enter into a legal contract - a Lease is a legal contract. If a landlord does enter into a contract with you, it is not valid.

The only way they could is if you were emancipated.
