Any value to the zero power is automatically one. Using the multiplication rule of identity, any number multiplied by one is itself.

2^0 = 1

1 * 5^-2 = 5^-2

With negative exponents, the answer becomes a fraction ...

5^2 = 25 ... so 5^-2 = 1/25

1/25 = 0.04

Anything to the power of zero is 1

So 2^0 =1

5^-2 , to make the exponent positive flip it so 1/5^2

therefore 1*1/5^2

any number raised to the 0 power equals 1. So, 2^0 = 1

negative exponents can be converted to positive exponents by finding their inverse. So, 5^-2 = 1/5^2 = 1/25.

Combining both above conversions, you get:

1 * (1/25) = 1/25 = 0.04

hi, -2[(7+3)times2]-5^2 cases 2 divided via 10 = -2[(7+3)2]-5² x 2 ÷ 10 = Do inner parentheses. -2[(10)2]-5² x 2 ÷ 10 = Multiply in parentheses. -2[20] - 5² x 2 ÷ 10 = Do exponent. -2[20] - 25 x 2 ÷ 10 = Multiply beginning at left. -40 - 25 x 2 ÷ 10 = Do next multiplication. -40 - 50 ÷ 10 = Divide. -40 - 5 = -40 5 <== answer i'm hoping that facilitates!! :-)

= 2^0 * 5^-2

= 2^0 / 5^2

= 1 / 25

= 0.04

2^0= 1

5^-2= 1/5

1/5^2= 1/25

Easy. The answer is 1/25 and if you need the answer in a decimal, it is 0.04

The answer is 1/25 or 0.04

2^0 * 5^-2=1*1/25=1/25=.04

shame at you for getting someone to do your homework!

Anything to power zero is always 1 so 2^0 = 1

A minus power gives 1/ (one over) so 1 / (5 squared)

which is 1/25

1 x 1/25 = 1/25
