I am currently going to buy a new CPU for my coputer and want to know what a good cooling device was.?

I am buying a Intel Pentium 4 3.0E Prescott 3.0GHz 1MB L2 Cache Socket 478 Processor.

I need to know what fan and heatsink to buy for it.

Can anyone give me a good product suggestion or tell me the specs I should look out for in a good one.

The original Intel fan and heat sink works fine. But no matter what fan you use be sure there is good circulation in the box, and you use good thermal grease, they run pretty hot.

The Scythe SCINF-1000 120mm CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink works really well.

In my experience, Zalman and Thermalright are the best heatsinks, and usually now they come with fans pre-mounted on them.

Look up Zalman on newegg.com and usually they are a a lil higher priced, but usually well worth it.
