does anybody know how to change the grey background color in Microsoft Word?

not page but background color

    Click on FORMAT

    Then on BACKGROUND

    choose the background color you want.

    Wait, I just realized I gave you what you did NOT want. The above changes the page. I think you want to chage the window appearance.

    To do this, right-click on an empty space on your desktop.

    Click on Properties.

    Select the tab: Appearance.

    Look down to where it says Color Scheme

    Experiment with different color schemes until you have the one you want.

    I tried "Wheat" and it changed the MS Word background from gray to 'wheat' - sort of a curry color.

    Right click on any part of the windows screen,click "properties"

    left click "appearance",left click "advanced",click "item" change color to suit.

    Source(s): Have changed Word background myself to "white" like note paper.
