Can you live in austin with no car?
is the bus system pretty good there or can you ride mopeds or bicycles all year round thanks

I live in Elgin, about 35 miles east of Austin. You can really depend on the bus system there. It's Capital Metro and it costs .50 cents to ride. You can also ask the driver for a pass to switch buses. Sometimes there are "Ozone-action" days and you can ride the bus for free.GOOD LUCK and Welcome to Austin, Texas, ya'll. yes my friend lived in austin with no car for about 2 years. he bought a used bike and rode the bus everywhere. i would recomend the bus over biking just due to safety with getting hit by a car on a bike. but it can be done, many do it.
