Bulimia is a sickness. It will ruin your teeth(from the acids in your stomach)! As most carbohydrates are absorbed through the mouth, throwing up your food is really not an effective way to lose weight, but an effective way to deprive your body of the nutrients it needs. I think you should seek professional help. A lot of people who become bulimic are not overweight at all and if you are overweight you should still seek help in losing the weight properly and in a healthy manner (not a life threatening one such as vomiting)!

Yes. It also destroys your teeth, stomach and kidneys. The momentary purdge and binging may feel good like a drug. It is also messing up your insides up too like a drug. If you are bulimic or know someone who is, I would get help right away before it turns into an addiction.

The previous posting that said it is more of an obsession is right. Don't start this. You can develop problems with your teeth, stomach throat, heart etc. It can kill you. If you have already started seek help. My college roomate start this and it almost ruined her life before she got help.

yes very easily. it can even get to the point where your body will automatically purge whenever there is food in the stomach because the muslces have been trainned to do so and not help in the digestion.

If you actually are bulemic, you ARE addicted to it. It's a mental disorder that needs to be treated.
