As the year isn't even over yet, your chances are slim. Most employers haven't finalized the numbers to even be able to produce a W-2 for you.

All employers have until January 31 to mail them, and most take that time to ensure the accuracy of what's being reported.

If you work for a small business, you have a decent chance of getting one by mid-January, but if your employer is mid-sized (500-999 employees) or large (1000+), you probably won't see it until February.

The employer is not going to pick you to not send a W-2. Most of the time this process is automated. If you do not receive your W-2 by February 15, contact your employer. If you still do not receive your W-2, you may file your tax return with a substitute W-2. Keep your final pay stub(s) just in case you need them.

W2s are prepared in January and must be mailed out by January 31st. You'll have to wait until they arrive.

Even if they want to cooperate, I doubt they have the time to prepare your W-2 any sooner than they would have if you didn't ask. If you take your last pay statement to H & R Block they will estimate your refund and offer you a loan. I usually don't recomend the practice, but its probably better then trying to get your W-2 early.
