Age discrimination? Why is it okay for senior citizen communities to not allow younger people to live there?

Would it be legal for me to operate a housing community and refuse to allow, say those over the age of 50 to live there?

Yes, these are legal limitations, determined by statute. You cannot on the other hand restrict access to housing based on age unless the property is specifically designated that way.

it should be illegal if its not. Thats kinda messed up. but I say you probably could but you have to make a diffrent excuse, you cant just say no because of age.

I think it has something to do with them being **SENIOR CITIZEN COMMUNITIES.** Seriously, what the hell's wrong with you?
