it's an I and a L not 2 I....

• "Did you know that 80% of UCSD students could not find the error above?"

... the statistic might be wrong, but the riddle is emphasizing the error in the alphabet ("above") not at the statistic.

• I think the uppercase i's could actually be lowercase L's and you can't tell that just by looking - so the error is impossible to find

A EF HI KLMN T VWXYZ

BCD G J OPQRS U

D££P 90...no you're not its two v's VV W

the first one is two v's the second is one W

I copied and pasted the two v's from the question and it IS two v's....I could put a space between them!

• Looks like the i's are actually lower case L's

ii = II

ll = LL

• Morons. It's the statistic that's the error. I hate this gag...

• Yes the two capital i's are too close together to be i's the are lower case l's eg i=II, L=ll
