The absolute best serum is called Silk Drops from FX Special Effects. Its inexpensive. You can get it at any Walgreens or Wal-Mart. Don't get fooled into paying more for others. You'll love it!

Redken Straighten out. It is the only one that actually protects my hair and doesnt make it dry and frizzy or greasey looking like some, and I have red and blonde highlights in my hair.

Try Biosilk, that works great on wet or dry hair, just a lil dime size will do the trick. Its not that expensive too.

Biosilk and Redken Glass are good but anything like that you want to try sticking till after you blow dry and striaghten because it can "cook" you hair.

(A hair stylist told me that once)
