I've made a asp page that a user clicks through to update a table column in a SQL database?

However, it does about 20 to 30 updates. Based on how many attributes the users check in the ASP page. The question is this. Is there a query that will lock the database at one instance and update the records all at once. I found the LOAD DATA technique however, it dosen't have respect to WHERE.

search for "ms sql lock nolock" in google and you will find what you are looking for...you may also look for "bulk update ms sql"

I do not have a good answer for asp but php has the WHERE function you seem to be looking for.
