Magdeburg Hemispheres?

Do you think I can describe this as an experiment (on of experiments) which proove something? What can they proove? The "power" of vacuum? have no other idea what to describe...

    Well, it's not too complicated to us today. But, it was heady stuff back in the 1600's. We just take air pressure concepts for granted so much that their original import seems to get lost and complicated.
