Good question! I am a Republican and think President Bush will be thought of as a good leader. I do see some points in what the 'other side' might say, but I'd offer my perspective... I do wish your question was more specific to help me out because there are so many aspects of the Presidency or any politician so...hmmmm. I'll try not to rant too much with this... He is a politician, so I am annoyed with him not pressing the immigration issue and some other issues more, but, I think the biggest reason why people don't like him is because of the Iraq War. So, my thoughts... I do believe he is sincere. If you're a liberal, just think what you would do after Sept. 11th and imagine the magnitude of that point in our history... It's huge! Mistakes were made with the war - whether by having faulty intelligence, etc. or not.... but I don't think Bush would have said "Let's go to war for the hell of it." When he says he thinks about every life lost in the war, I believe it. I'd like to think I believe that aspect about any President. And the war we're in, it's not one army against another.... it's the U.S. against .... for lack of a better way to put it... people who dress like ordinary citizens, people who carry guns like ordinary citizens, people who use guerilla warfare.... It's a tough situation over there, so I hope we can make it a success and our Military should be proud. I wish more people in the international community were like Tony Blair. The terrorists, or whatever you want to call them, hate anything American, hate any supporters of America, hate any non-Muslim, etc. Blair stood next to Bush and we need more leaders to do that. It has/will become a global problem... terrorists ('Muslim extremists') in England, terrorists here and all across the globe. To cut this short, just think about if we had a different President... what would he have done? Would we be better off? Would we be safer? Those are tough questions... I'm not certain we'd be safer or any better off with any other President. I do like President Bush but, like any other, time will tell whether he was a good President.

I don't like G. Bush. I think he is one of the worst presidents we have ever had, and I think history will prove that. I don't know enough about Tony Blair to judge whether or not he has done a good job, but at least he can put together a coherent sentence, and sound like a world leader.

I cannot think of even one thing about George Bush that I admire or respect. So no I do not like him. I believe we Americans went from having one of the greatest presidents ever, in terms of national prosperity, to getting one of the absolut worst in history. He has not accomplished even one goal on his agenda.

I realized he was a vengeful, venal man when he refused to commute the death sentence of Carla Faye Tucker, a young woman who spent more than 20 years on death row in Texas, when clearly if there was ever a case for mercy it was hers. But he callously allowed the state to execute her.

He has shown the same callous disregard for the lives of our brave men and women in uniform serving in Iraq and Afganistan. So many people are dead today who should still be alive and enjoying their families. He got us in a war under false pretenses. A totally senseless war that is benefitting only big oil and Halliburton Corp.

When President Clinton left office this country was enjoying the most robust economy in our history as a nation. He left Bush with a trillion dollar surplus and within less than two years this man who stole the election for his first term had squandered the surplus and mortgaged the futures of our great grandchildren. If he had spent the equivalent of the expenditures of the first year of the Iraq war on social security he would have made ss solvent to the year 2075.

He is a lying dictator. So no, I don't like him.

Yes, I like George Bush. He never did anything to me.

He is a good President...he'll fight for our freedom.

Tony Blair is a nice man and some don't like him because

he is a friend of George Bush.

    End of story.

George Bush may have cut some spending, but he also spent the redeeming Clinton legacy - a surplus in the budget that was way higher than anything Georgie saved!

I have no respect for Bush and same with Blair. He is the worst present we ever had. The world never hated us as much as they do now thanks to Bush. He helped murder thousands of Americans and Iraqis because of a unjust war.

I didn't vote for him the first or second term. I knew he would be a crappy president. I was a republican.

I don't know him personally but it seems a bit like he's playing scapegoat for all the generals and ministers who come up with dumb ideas like "let's go bomb iraq"

Tony Blair...hahah, Tony Blair. What can you possibly say about him?

Both Bush and Tony Blair are great leaders. They both stand behind their convictions and go with them. Of course, the liberals bash Bush for going with his convictions and taking a stand for what is right for the sake of our security and freedom as well as the same for the Iraqi people. Bush is a great leader - just constantly being verbally 'beaten' by the libs who know nothing about what they speak of. They lack understanding and can't see the forest through the real trees!

Yes ! Gotta love him . Both are good leaders - which scares their opponents . President Bush is such a "hands on" President , it infuriates the liberals . Tough act to follow .
