I admit I'm being stupid but i still can't get multiple windows open on one screen in IE7 What do I have to do

I tried clicking the tab square and ctrl T but all that seems to do is open a new tab. I want to be able to see two or more sites on the screen at the same time. I've got a great 22 in widescreen that's just begging to be used. Thanks

Have you tried doing the old way without the tabs? (I do this on a single screen and it's annoying that the new window pops up momentarily and then disappears behind the old one).

Just open another window from the explorer icon, not the tabs.

The United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team recommends you not use IE

"There are a number of significant vulnerabilities in technologies related to the IE domain/zone...It is possible to reduce exposure to these vulnerabilities by using a different web browser"

    I recommend Firefox

As far as seeing two or more sites on the screen at the same time you would have to use Opera for that.

Lol! Why do so many many people still dwell on that crappy software instead of downloading and installing Firefox, where opening a new window only takes typing <CTRL>-T?

In IE goto File option ->new-> window. You can browse in new windows instead of TABS.

I suggest you uninstall IE 7. . . . It's very very unstable, and doesn't work well with XP. . . Go back to IE 6. All ya have to do is go to Add/Remove Programs, and uninstall IE 7. . It will automatically roll back to IE 6.
