Does anyone know how to keep braids from slipping?

I can wear them a couple of weeks and they slip. I have delicate hair. I don't use perms or color or gel or spray. I use synthetic hair and I box braid.

Update:

I use to use human hair but I still have the same problem. I braid them tight, but eventually they slip. Someone told me it may be caused by new hair growth.

YOU'RE NOT BRAIDING TIGHT ENOUGH AND YOU HAVE TO BRAIN HALF WAY DOWN. WHEN THEY START TO SLIP THAT USUALLY MEANS THAT YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE STYLE. TRY TO ROLL AND DIP THE ENDS. TRY WASHING THEM IN SECTIONS AND FRENCH BRAID THEM BACK FOR WAVY LOOK. GOOD LUCK

do not use lots of conditioner so that the braids will stay in place and will not fall for a long period of time.
