What is the impact of compensation and benefits on following? on employee performance and o effectivenes?

    Within the terms of your question, they would vary by degree. It all depends on the motivating factor of the particular employee and thier own circumstances and situation.

    Compensation (salary) is usually the most measurable benefit of employment. The size of that also determines usually at least the employees position within a company. The more you earn the higher up the food chain you must be. So a poor performance would result in the sack or dismisal from the job. So a desire for more money and promotion would increase a persons motivation to achieve by performance. The effectiveness or otherwise of that person depends on the role they play and how much influence they have over events that shape thier destiny. Therefor the effectiveness of that individual can be measured by the success or failure of thier advance through a company.

    Benefits outside of Salary depend on the Dollar value the benefit has. Medical coverage in North America is a huge benefit but a company car is considered more attractive to an employee of the United Kingdom.status is measured by the additional benefits obtained with a position at work.

    In my opinion at least!!
