Do you roll the Rs in French? if so, when do you, and when don't you do it?

    We don't. Let me explain it to you. Put the tip of your tongue down behind your lower teeth. Don't move it. Try to let the air go out behind your teeth. The most important thing is, that the tip of your tongue doesn't move.

    We don't roll the Rs in French, like in Spanish for instance. It's more of a guttural kind of sound.

    We do roll Rs a little bit, but not as much as some other language

    yes you do roll r's in french, but it's really more of a regional thing then an overall national thing. You can get by just fine without doing it though.

    No. We do NOT roll the Rs.

    I would not roll any French rs, unless we had been introduced, and there was a basis for friendship afterwards.

    not really, you may have to in some areas, but not in the area where i have studied. it is not as important as in spanish and most slavic languages
