A woman can ovalate (and get pregnant) 6 weeks after delivering a baby, 6 weeks and 40 weeks of full term pregnancy, that's 46 weeks.

46*7=322 days for a full term pregnancy.

But the period can be shorter if the baby is born before the due date.
