Is there any booting system that is free?

I have yazaks and yahellete on mine but that just protects you from booters from what I have figured out.

If you can boot on these programs please tell me how, and if you know of a booting system that is free please give me the link.

    Well, there's Knoppix http://www.knopper.net/knoppix/index-en.html

but I should add this is not designed for permanent installation. Also there's FreeBSD http://www.freebsd.org/

In either case you'll need to access your bios (or computer setup) page that's accessed by pressing either Esc or one of your function buttons (i.e. F1, F10, etc [it varies]) and change the boot order so that your system can boot from a cd/floppy before booting from the operating system.

Unless I completely misunderstand what you mean.
