    No,they are two different STDS.

"HPV is the most common sexually transmitted disease in the United States, infecting roughly 24 million people. The virus comes in more than 60 types, yet most HPV infections go unnoticed. Some types of HPV cause only genital warts, or papillomas, which are unrelated to herpes. Two other types, HPV 16 and 18, are linked to cervical cancer." (source:

"Genital HPV infection is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) that is caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). Human papillomavirus is the name of a group of viruses that includes more than 100 different strains or types. More than 30 of these viruses are sexually transmitted, and they can infect the genital area of men and women including the skin of the penis, vulva (area outside the vagina), or anus, and the linings of the vagina, cervix, or rectum. Most people who become infected with HPV will not have any symptoms and will clear the infection on their own." For more information about HPV read this:

"Genital herpes is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by the herpes simplex viruses type 1 (HSV-1) and type 2 (HSV-2). Most genital herpes is caused by HSV-2. Most individuals have no or only minimal signs or symptoms from HSV-1 or HSV-2 infection. When signs do occur, they typically appear as one or more blisters on or around the genitals or rectum. The blisters break, leaving tender ulcers (sores) that may take two to four weeks to heal the first time they occur. Typically, another outbreak can appear weeks or months after the first, but it almost always is less severe and shorter than the first outbreak. Although the infection can stay in the body indefinitely, the number of outbreaks tends to decrease over a period of years."

No hpv is called the human papaloma virus it causes simple warts on your hands and well i hope not. Herpes simplex virus is classified as one or 2 it causes cold sores and genital herpes although they think both are the same virus. Herpes is a very localized virus it pops up where it was conceived its so common its not even funny. you can get it by sharing drunks etc. Hpv can cause cancer in females if it spreads to the cervix its called cervical cancer but if a female has a wart on her hand its probably not likely to spread their its not that common but common warts are. HPV and herpes are both treatable and almost down right curable with a substance called grapefruit seed extract.

I got diagnosed with herpes virus (type 2) about 7 yrs ago, while I was still in college and had a mindless one-night stand. I understand loads of girls will say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed.

Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the herpes virus from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This method provided the chance to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to help you too by sharing this with the World.

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women. I am so scared that I can give it to my children by kissing them and them eating with me...I feel like my whole life has changed. And even though the nurses, my doctor, and websites say that a lot of people have it I still feel like I am by myself. My self esteem has dropped and I feel like I have been used up. But now, My life is very happy.
