What is deference between moveable condenser and fixed condenser in biology microscope?

As we know, the condenser in microscope causes the light centralizes and focuses. And also diaphragm of condenser helps to contrast of image.

I want to know, what is deference between moveable and fixed condenser in biology microscope?

    Very simply, condensor lenses focus the light onto the specimen. The moveable condensor allows more operator control (but is much trickier to use) than a fixed condensor. For more information, check out these sites:

    a moveable condensor allows you to view objects with greater contrast (i.e. getting a better picture of the same object). this helps a lot when you're viewing a fluid or a thick smear, because it greatly reduces the need to continually focus up and down while viewing. it all depends on what you want to look at. but for my money, i'd put in extra for the movable condensor.
