If she hasn't eaten or drank in more than 24 hours you need to have her checked to make sure its not an illness. Pets who are moved can be depressed, and will sometimes not eat, but the stress can also bring on illness.

Are you sure that she's not eating or drinking when you're not watching her?

Stress can cause animals to lose their appetites, so that may be the problem, but if she's not drinking water, you need to take her to the vet ASAP!

Have you changed her dog food? If so, go back to what her previous owner fed her.

You may try giving her a treat to see if she'll eat that. You can also give her some boiled boneless chicken in hopes of enticing her to eat.

Remember, she has had a very hard time lately by changing owners. Imagine if you were suddenly in a different family. You would be upset too! Keep an eye on her and if she stops drinking or seems to be having any other problems, take her in to the vet!
