how many lbs. allowed per luggage?

    50 pounds for luggage yet your carry on can be as heavy as you want (well that you can carry) I flied Northwest recently and they charged an extra 50 dollars for every 10 pounds your luggage was over

    Also I'd check the website with the airline you are traveling with becaue they give you more details.

    For all flights outside the US the international standard is 20 kg per passenger in economy class, 30 kg per passenger in business class. This can be packed in 1 piece of several pieces of luggage, as long as the total weight is not exceeded.

    In the US it's 1 piece with a certain measurement and a limit of 60 lbs or something, not sure.
