can we edit xml files using javascript typically on googlepages

    well, sort of..

    You can process a xml file, loaded with AJAX. Javascript doesn't have any file reading and writting properties. Also for security reason they don't allow javascript to write to the local hard drive.

    Once you load the values into the area, you can do any processing you want, sorting, etc.

    You can't save the changes, for that you should use ASP or PHP
