How would one go about defecating while climbing Mount Everest or other mountains at high altitudes/low temps?

    Quickly. And downhill. The push to the summit on Everest starts early in the morning from camp and they have to be back by nightfall, so I'd think they'd do their business before leaving. . Things are frozen so solid on hitting the ground that sanitation wouldn't be a concern. Plus the stress and exertion, limited diet and environment might contribute to make you not need to go as often. It might be an insider secret that after finally climbing Everest the first thing you do is s h i t yourself in relief.

    one carries special plastic bags. i had to carry some climbing Mt. Shasta in California,USA because it is protected. it is only 14,000 feet.

    of course, people are so lazy they often bury it. would guess the highest mountains would not offer that option.
